In "**Free Text**" questions, students are asked to type their answer using the built-in word processor of eClass.

To create a question of this type, navigate to the desired exercise and then select the "**New question**" link. On the screen that appears, enter the question and choose the "**Free Text**" option for the answer type. The next step is to set the grade for this specific question.

The process is completed by clicking the "Create" link.

Correction per Question

The openeclass platform now allows you to grade exercises in a new way. Specifically, for Free Text questions included in an exercise, you now have the option to correct and grade them one question at a time, rather than all at once. To grade Free Text questions in this way, you must select the "Correction per question" link within the specific exercise.

In the pop-up menu, you must select the "Correction" option.

Next, you need to select the question you want to grade and then click the "Submit" link. On the screen that appears, you must select the number of the question to be graded. Once this step is complete, you can see the success rate (a bar with the success percentage) of students for each question.
