====  Change or Recover Password ====

The password is the component that you use to access the eclass platform services. If you **know** your password and just want to change it then you can follow the steps below.

  * Type the address of the eclass platform in browser.
  * From the home screen, select the link "My Profile".

  * On the current screen, select the "Modify password".

  * Via the form you present your first enter your current password and then the new password and confirmation.

Having completed the above process the next time you login to the eclass platform will need to enter your new password now to authenticate on it. If for some reason you **forgot** your password, you can follow these steps to retrieve it.
 
  * Type the address of the eclass platform in browser.
  * From the home page click the "Forgot your password".

  * In the form that appears enter the user name (user name) and email address (e-mail) with which you are registered on the platform.

Going to the email address you provided you get a message from the platform which contains instructions on how to change your password.
