Data protection under GDPR
The Open eClass platform collects and processes the following personal data of users: first name, last name, email address, and phone number, as well as user participation in specific courses, educational programs, or seminars. This information is essential within the educational process, allowing the tracking of online course attendance to be matched to each learner and enabling communication between the platform, instructors, and learners. These data are not shared with third parties and are not processed beyond the stated purpose. The platform employs necessary technical measures to ensure access to these data is restricted solely to users required for the service's operation.
Upon visiting the platform, a cookie is stored in the visitor's browser, which is used exclusively to implement the service's functionality, specifically for user log-in. No data collection is conducted on user behavior or actions beyond activity logs related strictly to the educational process and only for users participating in it.
Regular backups are maintained for data stored on the platform to prevent user data loss. These backups are encrypted with a secure key, allowing access solely to administrators responsible for managing the computing systems hosting the service.
A document outlining the terms of use can be posted if needed. However, since personal data is only processed for educational purposes and there is no connection with any external service, user consent (consent option) is not enabled by default.
